Senior Supply Chain Leader

Purpose of the Job:

The main purpose of this position is to work closely with the Regional Supply Chain Team focusing on supporting the Commercial Team on product business development in addition to ensuring operations excellence across the region and is as per agreed company Policy and Customer SLAs.

Job Responsibilities:

* Develop business through new and existing customers and ensure proper customer relationship management
* Manage through dotted lines the GCC Supply Chain Teams
* Respond to RFQs and prepare customer costing and rates
* Develop supply chain solutions for customers within GCC
* Build and maintain customer relationship by regular customer visits/meets
* Lead the monthly, quarterly and yearly business reviews with customers
* Set customer SLAs as per the operational capacities and legal requirements, make sure customers SLAs are met
* Develop contingency management of customer demands
* Reduce service failures to mitigate credit notes through improvement projects with GCC supply chain managers
* Ensure and improve service levels through regular customer feedback
* Reporting any information that might impact company image and brand or functioning
* Set KPIs and conduct annual review for direct reports. Conduct regular performance review meetings with the Team to monitor and achieve the set KPIs
* Recruit, train, develop and mentor direct and indirect reports
* Ensure identifying direct reports training needs and propose training needed to HR
* Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically
* Determine access requirements to information within the Supply Chain Team to guarantee privacy and confidentiality based on sensitivity, classification, legal requirements and company policies, and pass to IT for implementation
* Develop and maintain the Supply Chain Team’s response and recovery plan during a disruptive incident, using the tools and templates provided by the local business continuity coordinator working within the BIE team
* Ensure having a succession plan in place, identify employees with high potential and propose career development plan.
* Responsible for the product revenue and cost performance across GCC
* Meet the revenue and cost budgets yearly and quarterly
* Control direct and indirect costs (like overtime, consumables and outsourcing)
* Manage credit notes and ensure they are kept to a minimum, take all necessary measures to reduce cost without compromising quality and standards
* Ensure billing runs monthly correctly and on time
* Resolve disputes reported by customers on any specific logistics invoice that is “pending collection” if any

Job Requirements (Experience and Education):

* Engineering Degree from a reputable university
* 3-4 Years of experience in customer service, special projects in the business field
* Excellent English skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Motivated and focused
